杜博林公司不是原设计旋转器的公司，他是*进入市场以平衡式机械密封设计于其产品上．在这期间，zui流行的机械密封产品是压缩型密封器，他是依靠两个压缩的密封面保持密封．
随着各种设备速度的提高，压缩式密封的设计有明显的磨损。鲁克以*机械密封安装在旋接器内。这个设计马上被市场接受，杜博林公司开始扩大．zui早使用鲁克设计的旋接器，除了印刷行产业还有：

公司组成几年后，迪克林决定进行一个*不同的商业线路．并且把他手里的部分股份卖给鲁克，使鲁克成为公司*的所有者．
杜博林．像所有经历过第二次世界大战后的制造工厂一样，在50,60年代稳定成长.使鲁克区别于同一时代大多企业家不同的一点是他的预见思路和沟通力。这些素质使得杜博林从60年代后期，从他的竞争者及美国制造业中脱颖而出。之后鲁克决定到海外拓展市场。令人难以置信的是他在60年代后期选择去日本访问。
